LOCATION: 200 West Belleview Drive, Lawrenceburg, IN 47025

TITLE: Senior Process Engineer

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

DUTIES: Responsible for designing and implementing manufacturing processes, equipment, and plants (from pilot to fully operational) to achieve the production goals of the organization.
Identifies and develops process and equipment needed to produce specific products, parts, and components.
Responsible for providing technical direction as it relates to equipment and processes for the glass container manufacturing production activities from the raw material unloading through shipping to customers.
Provide the planning and recommend resources to improve the glass manufacturing process through statistical based analysis.
Interpret statistical process control data, collection and analysis.
Analyze the data for trends and root cause, and provide appropriate follow up.
Perform designed experiments to determine actions needed for improved process capabilities.
Develop and implement projects to improve the manufacturing process
Initiate design changes to equipment or processes to achieve improved efficiencies.
Review and suggest revisions or initiate Standard Operating Procedures.
Assist in the planning, management and supervision for equipment installation and rebuild projects.
Work in conjunction with plant manufacturing to maintain production, quality and safety standards.
Audit and review of current manufacturing practices to maintain continuous improvement in the glass manufacturing process.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Ceramic), or related field.

Five (5) years of required mechanical, industrial, or related experience must include: Five (5) years of experience with Tiama inspection equipment. Five (5) years of all glass conveyer experience. Experience must also include: Automatic Palletizers.

ALTERNATE EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Employer will accept no degree and Seven (7) years of mechanical, industrial, or related experience. Must have skills listed above.
